feet ... what do you wear.shoes,trainers,slippers...

tonight I played against computer wearing my slippers. felt strange wearing slippers usually wear trainers. got me thinking I only own 2 pair of shoes and I only wear them for funerals or any other occasion where I have to wear a suit. take my boots off after work and its straight into nice comfortable trainers.
got me thinking I don't think I would be comfortable wearing shoes playing darts.
so what do others do shoes,trainers,slippers, or are you a bare foot rebel ...

I am most comfortable playing in socks at home. Otherwise I play in skate shoes.

Usually on WDA when I play in my garage I'm wearing flip flop sandals... sometimes "trainers" at league, but usually boots.
Doesn't seem to make any difference, I don't lean forward all that much though.

I'd play in bare feet if it was allowed

At home, anything from sneakers to flip flops to slippers to socks to bare feet.

i can play in either slippers or trainers, most of the time plain black adidas trainers of which i will use for league next year

I have a set of Sport shoes that live in my dart room,( used only for Darts) so if I Train or Play I always take the time to use the same shoe.

Might as well call soccer cleats "boots" while you're at. (I'm joking, I used to live in the UK)

I always wear very comfortable shoes canvas or suede shoes...basically suede Puma, Lacoste, cheap low top canvas Nikes, etc..

I do notice that I play better with a leather dress shoe/leather sole/heel....I just feel so much more planted. I just need to find a good shoe I can wear with jeans that has a stiff sole but doesn't look overly dressy.

Right now I often wear my expensive leather oxford's for dart league night and I'm tired of banging them up.
