Who makes the best tungsten darts and learning numbers
Hey guys. I am just getting back into the game after many years. Which darts have the highest amount of tungsten and the highest quality?
Also what is the best way to learn numbers for outs? Chalking a lot

Did you answer your own question?

At this point I dont think one person has the highest quality. McCoys and Mckicks are good darts, so are Unicorn and Target. THat said, everybody seems to like Target and One80

Hello and welcome Ricky,

There are a few on the market I'm using Andy Hamilton Golden Maestro 25Gm which are 97% and they also make a Sigma dart with the same % quality is a hard word to define and it can be a personal matter. The vast majority of dart manufacturers around the World make darts of a quite high quality and I believe most have been certified to ISO quality standard accreditation too.
Chalking is the best method to start with to help with you 'outs' and you can buy charts too.

Good luck

Cheers

My father Merlin, once told me that "You should end up pointing to what you were aiming at when you've released the Dart."

There are a lot of great companies. More tungsten does not always make a better dart. It really comes down to what you like, how it feels in your hands and how well it flies for you. My favorite sets of darts are from Elkadart they have 90% tungsten and are relatively cheap. Is there a reason why you want higher tungsten content?

You answered your second question. I started to learn my outs better by chalking as many games as I could when I played league. Chalk as you practice at home. It all will help you in the long run.

There is no real answer as to which darts are best and having the highest tungsten content is not an indicator that the dart is the best quality, you could have the most expensive finely crafted dart in the world but still it may not suit you and you could throw better with a cheap brass set Guests cannot see images in the messages. Agree with this. My darts are 80% Tungsten, and are brilliant in my opinion.

As for numbers, start here: https://www.dartsnutz.net/forum/showthread.php?tid=9449

As for darts, don't make the mistake of getting hell bent on tungsten content. If you find a dart you like from Nodor, Target, Winmau, Unicorn, Harrows, Bulls, One80, etc, that you like, you can't go wrong with anything 80% or higher.

Hello and welcome to the Nutz forum. :hithere:

As many have said already, tungsten % is not the end all/be all of a dart being of fine quality.

All the best and good darting. :arrows:
