Voks Nobu Camo darts Time for COMBAT!

vid link = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zs4N7sjl8NE&list=UUFOUzs58B7425JEDXkBLoGQ

I got these a few weeks ago and they are from the specials range that Voks do, usually to experiment with new coatings and that, I got these purely for collecting although they do have a very nice feel but I was told the coating would likely wear so I just want to keep them as is.

You can check the Voks specials here: https://voksdarts.com/product-category/darts/specials/

Voks also started putting their darts in new very neat packaging which you can see in better detail in the short video showcase above. They were also vacuum packed which was a bit tough to rip open lol

My original Voks Nobu review is here: https://www.dartsnutz.net/showthread.php?tid=5919&highlight=nobu

I am almost certainly going to get caned for this but I honestly think they look horrible, I could not justify buying darts not to throw, the shape is not for me and the colouring do's not make me think mmmmmmm at all
Sorry but they are not going on my want list.

Those points look really old. Are they PVD coated? Great review though

Why did ya take the points out for the last couple pics? Sorta looks like a rpg shell.

Nice review once again, Darren!

How much are they? What weight? You suddenly reminded me to play with my Black Widows with similar spinning point technology. I am having fun putting and using points with different lengths.

After prolonged use/throws they break your stems as it is where the point impact as it hits the board - is absorbed.

Would you say those are made of tungsten material?

pretty cool looking darts.

Am I the only one that can't see any darts in the pictures?

Why would you get caned? your entitled to voice your opinion whether good or bad and I prefer that you do Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.

You probably never seen much of Macs (USMC80) posts as he has not been round much the past year but every time I posted a dart up he would post with "UGLY" LOL but as you should know by now I have some weird tastes in darts so they wont be to eveyones liking, but as Mac was a US Marine he may like these lol!

But as I am a collector and I like the Nobu dart I wont be throwing these as they are the only set in the world, they are the one off sets that wont be made again so in that respect they are rare which is why I want to keep them in pristine condition, probably should have left the vacuum wrapped plastic on but I wanted to take pics too Guests cannot see images in the messages. I don't know what it is but it seems to be some different kind of metal, maybe as it is a long movable point they are hardened in some way?

Check my Nobu review in the link above, this is not a review just a showcase in show us your darts. They are 90% tungsten, just the normal Nobu darts with some kind of painted coating. These are 21g.

I think they are actually pretty cool and your pics show them off very well. I agree that they should not be thrown (probably the first and last time I will say that about any darts lol), but displayed beside the board would be class

Love the darts really neat looking all you need is some Camo Flights.

I have had 2 sets of Nobu darts they throw very nice and are well made. The only thing I have not figured out about Voks darts is why in the Hell do they put Aluminum Shafts on the ECL MP darts and not Nylon Shafts?????

Cheers Bret, not sure about the alloy stems but its a pain trying to get the cloth flights in them, maybe they just have a huge stock pile of them?

I've almost bought different Voks darts (same point style though) many times... I think they are cool looking

Grip

The reason I brought it up is they tell you not to use Alloy Shafts on the ECL MP system. This is due to continued pounding of the points against Shafts the Alloy Shafts will tear/strip the threads out of the darts.

Kind Regards
