Eye Dominance, does it matter with darts?

I kind of thought it mattered for like a minute, but I'm left eye dominant and a right hand thrower and I usually release from just under or just to the right of my right eye (beside my face). For some things, I might find myself pulling the dart to the middle of my face, but that is me adjusting my head rather than my arm. That's rare though.
