Ah sounds like a whole new aspect of collecting, so how does this work? I have never played on one so is it something that is in the cards you buy for the machines?

sounds like darts is gonna get real expensive in the future ! pay to play , Japanese darts and accessories , themes? to buy
beer , tungsten and sisal are expensive enough

I guess its been like that a while in the Asian market, they have all kinds of accessories for soft tips, to some extent its similar in steel tip too but not as much as what it was before the soft tip market made it a trend with cases and bracelets and towels etc

no idea, a lot of the soft tip things are still a mystery to me, I know you can watch vids and read about it but I tend to only fully grasp such things when I try them myself.

When you insert the Dartslive card in the Machine, a theme will flash on the screen above it. Sometimes the themes come in for free or a friend passes them to you. You can only store 21 Dartslive Themes under your account which you have to renew monthly for a fee. You can customize the themes (personalize) it via the machine or online. Themes include special sounds whenever you hit the marks and/or finish the game. They also include messages that flashes for every win you make.
I find it so annoying!
It's like having a social media on soft darts board because the account asks you things like what you feel today and what your relationship status is. Crap!!!
I was branded as YAGI (Japanese for "The Goat") in Dartslive. So as my theme.
Because someone caught me drinking milk on one of the games I played.
(I wish I was named the Goat for kicking someone's behind.)

Seriously - that's the cost of a Dartslive theme you got?
Some are won from joining/participating in World Darts tournaments. Some special ones are given by generous Japanese players. Those are worth collecting.
