Unicorn

can some of you history buffs .....?
Id love to see a wiki style thread of players darts past to present. For example I have no idea what Phil Taylor used before unicorn , a complete timeline of barneys darts , id love to help in anyway I can but if I knew the answers then I wouldn't be asking lol. Perhaps we could just start a 2014 onwards thread (this is for you future Jamie) where we list in order everytime a PDC pro changed their darts..... Would be nice to see a timeline or"evolution" of players darts shapes, weights and makers. What do you guys think?

Great idea Jamie ... The red dragon broucher names players darts /weights don't know if target or other makers do this ...

But would be good to see what players like jockey, bristow,Lowe, and Reece all used in there prime..

My father Merlin, once told me that "You should end up pointing to what you were aiming at when you've released the Dart."

there is lots of things I would like to do, I had lots of ideas planned for the history section and other areas but have very little time these days, my Dads taking more time to look after so any spare time I get is usually spent checking over the forum and doing reviews, hopefully will get round to implementing all my ideas some day Guests cannot see images in the messages. i think maybe if we get a few volunteers myself and hopefully quite a few others we could tackle this. would need to be up for discussion on the best way do do it . perhaps start of with a list of the top 50 or 100 pdc players in 2014 divide the players up amongst the volunteers into smaller groups and they can then go about entering a timeline of known darts used . maybe a spreadsheet could be used and emailed back and forth ? it would require a lot of work so the more names in the hat the better , would be no rush in doing it just as and when we have spare time. just a thought . it probably would only be worth doing if we had 10 or more people helping as no one could be expected to be putting to much time in and as with anything people coming and go .

I think its probably best to start with just a handful and work on them until complete or as near as complete as you can then add more as you go a long.

Some members have more than one or two sets of the same player perhaps people that follow a particular player could provide in formation and forward it to Jamie for compilation

good idea , a fan who has followed a player through/or part of a player's career is a great idea . as i said no rush . could take years to compile and be added too , this is why i said a wikipedia style thing . future you will thank past you lol
