TIPS AND TRICKS : What to do before and when fit Target Storm points

1: Why choose storm points ?

To save your flights and for finger grip on the point.

Storm points are made for a smooth transition to the barrel, to save your flights when the barrel hits a dart already in the board.and good aerodynamic

2: Do all Storm point fit ?

Yes the do, but not all fit nice. The max width is 3.40mm and have a smooth transition of 95% of all Target made barrels.

The best is measure the front of your barrel:

3: Use always a new point, the storm points are a bit fatter in the middle when new
may all the doubles be with you

I remember fitting some to the Wagner darts I had the fit was extremely tight and my hands were sore for a few days after fitting them. Thinking back now I should have may be filed them a touch to make it easier, not sure how viable it is to do that though?

I also advice 26mm smooth. [ standard length on most darts ]

When choose grip or 30mm the chance of breaking is higher
may all the doubles be with you

Do you suggest a drop of Lok-Tite or clear nail polish before seating them?

I always use a drop of blue lok-tite when seating them.  Not sure if its really needed or not as they go in real tight but I do it anyway.
