I really like the harrow clic system. The stems are great. And the flights are very durable.
Hello guys!
I know this is an old thread, but I got my Clic System these days. I tried the medium stems and the medi ones. I am very happy with the medium. They are a bit longer than the stems I used before (Target Pro Grip medium). I think it is a step forward in my setup. The darts are landing a bit flatter in the board now and they are flying in a nice and straight way. What I am also interested in is, does anybody have experience in the difference between the Harrows Clic and the Cosmo Fit Flight System? What do you guys prefer? I tried to get the Cosmo, but I could not find a dealer here in germany who is selling it. Probably you guys can tell me a good dealer in the UK who sells to GER.
Good luck. Mine lasted all of about 30 minutes before I noticed 2 fairly large splits on the undersides of the flights.

www.dartscorner.co.uk have a very good range of Cosmo gear and they will ship to Germany
The new Winmau Stealth system looks good too and will be released in early January
Are the Clic system 'standard' shape flights only still or are they going to be doing other shapes too?
I would try them if they offered other shapes, preferably slim or kite.
I'm sure someone said they saw some other Clic shapes on a foreign site - presumably Japanese, but not sure.
As Rich says DC will ship Cosmo gear to Germany - I would suggest waiting for a couple of weeks or so until the Winmau Stealth system comes out as that looks like a decent system and may be cheaper than Cosmo's as well
Thanks for your reply!
Ok then, I m gonna wait until the Winmau system is coming out... Until now I don´t have any problems with the Harrows Clic. I just found the standard shape of flights. Probably the system is not selling this good yet, that`s why they don`t offer other shapes I imagine... I think a lot of people are not buying them, because the price (also at the Cosmo system) is too high. I like the system but my opinion is that it is too expensive. I don`t know how high the price is in the UK. Here in GER I payed around 11,-€ for one set (flights and stems).
I always assumed, and still do to a certain extent, that all the Cosmo, L-Style and molded flight systems were primarily for soft tip darts.
I have tried Cosmo's once, got a set in a trade, and they perished within a week - 1 flight completely torn and the other 2 bashed out of shape - pretty much as I would expect from steel points hitting them. It has always been a price issue with me, the stems are not the problem as they seem to last, and are quite protected from the steel points, but paying £4.50 for a single set of flights that may only last a week or so didn't work for me. And in the week that I did try them I didn't find that they made much difference to me than a 50p set of normal strong flights. Each to their own, and I must admit, I do like the look of them as well as the concept, but at the current prices I am happy to stick with normal flights/stems.
Ive never had a cosmo flight tear or split, but I havent used them for a super long time. Maybe around 75 hours on the longest, but I change just to switch up colors before it goes bad.
My friend bought a set of the Harrows Clic and didnt really pay much attention to them. Within a week I looked and they were all split in at least two places. It was suprising because they do have that reinforced edge, but they definitely werent the most durable. I have been using my Harrows Clic system for my Soft tip board at home on hard wood floors,,,, so far they still look like new,,,I have 2 sets of darts setup with short stems,,,,I attribute that to the material and design of the shaft being thin and flexible enough to absorb the shock of landing on my floor due to a bounce out,,,Unlike the Fit flight Gears stems I tried,,,,
That being said ,, I really would like to see Harrows Clic come in different stem shapes and the fights in more variety of sizes,,, I now want to try the New Winmau system ,,, any word on when and where,,,? |
