This one isn't spectacular or impressive in any way shape or form but for me it has particular sentimental value as it was my late Father's board who we sadly lost at the end of last year.

The Unicorn Teknik cabinet and Maestro dartboard which I bought him for Christmas around 2005. Attached to the inside of the airing cupboard door in the hallway.

A cheap set of John Part Darts, probably bought from the local pound shop.

A set of paper flights from his younger days.

The last game we played on the board still chalked up. I have no recollection who won but we were both on doubles.

A pair of his glasses. He was almost certainly turning the house upside down looking for these at some point.

Good memories.

First crack at building any of this, a back board or a 360 surround lighting. Just upgraded the garage from an old rug hanging on the wall behind my Eclipse Pro to this. Cut a large galvanized metal bucket in half and painted to use as my lighting surround. Cheers!

Built the backboard. 36" x 36". I have a piece of foam covered by felt behind the dart board. Adding LED lighting around the inside edge.

I've been meaning to do this kind of setup for years, today I finally got started. It's going to be used for soft tip board but, as you can see it can support the weight of a normal board too.  It's great to keep the noise down so I can now play late night darts  Guests cannot see images in the messages.
