I have had these a while now but with breaking my hand only just got round to reviewing them. I liked the look of them so they had to be tried! Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.
The darts are 24g and 90% tungsten and have a black titanium coating. They are packaged in the usual Elkadart clamshell packaging and are fitted with medium alloy stems which are pre-fitted with rubber "O" rings. They are supplied with Elkadart standard shape flights and a point protector and plastic Elkadart case.
They retail for £21.99 and are very nice looking darts as you can see in the pics below:

As you can see from the 2 pics above the barrels look to be designed mainly for a front style grip with the shark grip at the front, but the rings are also quite grippy and also the black ti coating applies a certain amount of grippiness too. The shark grip section is a little narrower than the barrel in front and behind it, so it acts a bit like a very minor squared scallop. The shark grip at the front is not steeply angled but is very grippy all the same.

Weight:
Barrels are quite closely matched, there is 11 100th's of a gram difference between the lightest and heaviest and just 5 tenths of a gram above 24g, always bear in mind though my scales may be out a few tenths Guests cannot see images in the messages. Balance point:
It was a little difficult to get this measured right as it seemed to fall around the end of the shark grip and on the little slope leading to the smooth band, but with nothing attached it seemed to be a little front weighted to me:

With the supplied setup I would say it was pretty much the centre of the barrel:

Conclusion:
These darts reminded me of the Harrows Fire darts I reviewed a while ago but I think the front grip on these is a lot better. They seemed to be flying quite nice for my throw and I enjoyed throwing them. The balance suited my front grip and they were flying through the air nice too. I did try having a throw by gripping near the rings at the back of the barrel, they flew in a straight direction but kind of spiralled as they did so, that could be just down to me and not been used to throwing with such a grip position though.
This is another set of darts that I have tried that has a shark grip, although its not sharply angled so it is not off putting, I don't mind this shallow angled shark grip as it sits quite flat along the barrel so it provides a nice level of forward thrust on release without been at risk of miscuing the dart.
They are very nice looking darts again, and very good value too! Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.
