Help me choose my next set of darts
Currently I own 2 sets of darts:1st a 21 gram harrows eric bristow silver arrows (torpedo shape) which I dont like at all, and 2nd a 23 gram set of bobby george 85% tungsten darts which I like very much it is a straight barell which suits me but I dont like the weight of it. I am almost 100% sure that I need heavier darts so that I need to put less effort in throwing them, a 25 gram set with a straight barrel shape, and balanced in the middle (where my grip is). This is how I grip my darts

Here are some sets that I have singled out so far. My main problem is that I live in Greece, and here there is not a single shop which sells darts so that I can shoot some sets to try them, nor I have any friends that play darts, so I can only get advice and opinions from you guys.

So we have the wolframs 25 gram

The harrows fire 25 gram

The winmau hi impact 25

The winmau 26 highlander

Theese cheetah

And raymond van barneveld

My main concern is that the set of darts that I will buy must have a middle placement for my thumb so I can grip the dart the same way every time without having to think if I am doint it right. So please guys if you have tried any of the above speak out and let me now what you think, or if you have a simmilar grip with me, tell me which darts you use. Lastly I am willing to consider any other darts reccomendations as long as the price doesnt exceed 30 pounds. Thank you in advance

Of the ones you posted I think the Highlanders would work best with your grip. It looks like there is a scallop section right where you can rest your thumb. It would be perfect and you wouldn't need to worry about how you are holding your darts, your fingers should just go on the right spot.

Did you see Getagrip's review of the Mervyn King's? https://www.dartsnutz.net/showthread.php?tid=5481 these might suit you as well.

I saw it know, it's the first time I see this kind of grip. But I am afraid that I will not be consistent with my thumb. I will be waiting for more opinions.

Have you considered Scott Waites 25g? They are very good for getting a consistent grip, and very nicely balanced

Puredarts sells the 500 series, cheaper alternative to the scott waites (Red Dragon penetrators)

They look good. Come on people express your opinions. As it now stands most likely contenders are the highlanders, these scott waites seem interesting, can anyone compare them with the harrows wolfram and the fire ones? I seem to like all these darts and I cant make up my mind, just yet, and I have one shot to make the right descicion...

as a beginner I think your best to go with a barrel that has more straight features, so you what a barrel shape that is mostly straight where you intend to grip it but need something such as micro or mini shark grip or even a standard ring grip.

The Wolframs have good grip all the way down, I've thrown mine using rear, middle & front grip. But at the end of the day its your choice, don't worry so much about the dart as with practice you can change your grip to work with the dart. I've done it with a few of mine. The main thing for me is to get something you want, something you like, something you want to throw for a long time, in my experience comfort is a massive part of darts.

I now have a dillema between the wolframs and the fire ones. Between these 2 what can anyone say? As I see it the fire ones are better looking (the wolframs look nice too btw) but for some reason I think that the wolframs will have a higher performance in play than the fire ones...

Wolframs may suit your grip the best.

Personally I think you should go with the Barney Datadart Icon or the Jocky Wilson Datadart Ghost grip. Great straight dart with a nice micro grip running down the barrel. I did a little review some time ago on the Wilson Ghost grip. Have a look:
