What are your opinions on this scenario?

The other day a seasoned player was added onto a roster for a division many people would consider lower and unfair. Here's a little history though a couple of years ago there used to just be 4 divisions two A divisions, B, and a C. Recently though 4 teams have been elevated into what has been deemed the premiere league in order to keep the A divisions competitive and not have the same teams in the playoffs. This player hasn't played league in probably a year but its a confirmed borderline 80 average shot. Now personally I don't see what the problem is having this player play in the A division since I would love a shot to play with them but apparently it caused quite the uproar since most other teams think this player should only be allowed to play in the premier league division. How do you guys feel about this? Keep in mind that premier league and A league are still pretty much the same thing though most people are not on par with those premiere league guys hence the division.

I'm with you as well. If the others have a problem they should practice more and get better.

If they are very similar leagues then I see no problem. But if the one division is that much better I can see the complaints. There are a few players in the league I joined that do not belong anywhere near our division which is the lowest. The one player is definitely 2 divisions too low the others are borderline 1 or 2 lower than they should be.

Wouldn't bother me, it's like me playing Hat and Slacker on here, both are out of my league but I love the challenge to go up against the best. If MVG, Taylor & Lewis joined, I'd be more excited about taking them on than moaning cause they'd win everything.

The format of the league is exactly the same though there is a noticeable difference between the quality of player. Granted I think on any day the other players can take legs off of the premier league guys. The premier league guys are just steadier shots and more consistent. I think mingling them back together creates a drive and motive to get better and am all for it though apparently that is not the general consensus of the league. It was voted that the player I spoke of above could not participate and could only play in the premier league if he played league. I felt that was a little ridiculous but I in the long run I'm just a player and I believe it came down to captains opinions.

Some people also have friends in other divisions and want to play with them. People are such babies. It's why I gave up being the captain. Going to those meetings where everyone just whines for two hours was a nightmare

In my limited experience, guys like that get bored and distracted (and maybe drunk) and eventually get beatable.

I know I got forced to go to one when my captain couldn't go. It was brutal. I'm glad to see that most people have a similar opinion to me on this one here. I'm still shocked that they ended up not letting him play anymore. I think its a terrible decision but I wouldn't be surprised if next year they go back to the old format with no elevated teams and these other teams end up getting beaten up even more and no complaints can be made because everyone is in A.

I see in the intro thread you're from the USA. There's only 2 American players with a confirmed 80 average on WDA. Dersch and Ray Carver. I find it highly unlikely that this guy is an 80 average unless he is a top pro in the USA.

One of the best players on this forum "only" has a 74 average. Just saying.
