So why did you join the Forum?

I found this forum through a comment made on another website. After being away from the game for 20+ yrs. I decided to investigate and glad I did. My reason for joining are simple. I love the open exchange and sharing of information without the influence and restrictions of corporations. This forum makes me feel like I've never been away from the game we all love.
I loved being able to see all the different sets of darts and reviews as well as the discussions on the mechanics used while throwing.
LOL "The Crisp People!" sounds like some monsters from Doctor Who!

But seriously if your talking about when the forum first started then I joined because it was a great new idea at the time for a forum that was going to based around darts history and collecting and also because my best friends were helping to build it! Don't remember why I first came here but very glad I did. Love darts, like to look at darts enjoyed the banter going on. Also liked the reviews, tips and information provided. Always find something interesting to read.

I was doing a search for darts based forums and a few popped up but they seemed to be more based off of one manufacturer or business and not darts in general. I came across Darts Nutz and while browsing one day I received an email from a Getagrip (still not sure how he got my email prior to me joining), threatening me to join or he would feed my captive friends to his blood thirsty dog.
He still hasn't released all my friends but sends me pieces of them once a month to let me know he still has them. I figure I will be out of here.... I mean a member here for at least another year.
