Do you glue flights
|
Huh, never thought of it. I guess if I did I would try thread sealant on my champagne rings. Just a smidge .
My answer is no but felt compelled to vote mummy doesn't let me use glue and scissors
nope, actually don't mind it when the flight popps off when It hits another dart imo
I threaten to punch mine if they fall off, they still disobey me though, no idea why?
Only once when I lived in an area that had no dart shops to stop by and pick up new stems. It was when I had left New Orleans right after Hurricane Katrina and had to live elsewhere until I repaired the damage to my house. I used Super Glue to hold the flights on until I could get to a computer and order new stuff.
Other than then, there's really no reason to do it. Plastic stems are really cheap.
Rod Harrington mentioned this the other day on the commentary of the PDC German Darts tourney - 'I always used to super-glue my flights in before a match, to be sure'.
Maybe he did back then and maybe now the standard of stems and flights has improved so dramatically that we might think there is no need but confidence in your flights at all times can only be a good thing. So maybe he has a point or he just doesn't like bending down Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images. |
