Password resets
This comes up quite often.  I tested today with a standard SMTP mail account with no issue.

On the login screen, you'll see a prompt - Lost Password?  Click that:

You'll be asked for your registration email address:

An email will be sent that looks like this:

On confirmation, a temporary and randomly generated password will be sent.  Strongly advise you ultimately reset your own password in the User CP:

Any problems, use the Contact Us link.  # 35 in the guides.  Here's the link for anyone in doubt:

I'd like to point out, in case there are other boomers like me out there, you login with your user name, not your email address. I got a new computer and never saved my old password off the old computer. I kept trying to log in with my email address and couldn't figure out why the three times I reset my password, the new password wouldn't work....

Good point, some sites do use email addresses.  But not this one.

In the current registration agreement, new members are warned *NOT* to use their email address as a username.  Which is a good hint I guess.  That change was made after you joined though.  Mostly because it exposes the address to abuse by the bad actors out there.  But who reads that stuff anyway - lol.
