Best way to clean darts
I cleaned my RD Marlins with warm water and hand soap and it took all the blue coating off them. Not happy.

What the hell, did they use watercolor to coat them????     I've never heard of such a thing.    If anything, people complain about how hard it is to remove the paint and other types coating if they chose to do so.

It came off real easy. Didn't use a brush just rubbed them with my fingers and it peeled off. I will post a picture later.

Should be blue by the point and in the middle.

That's a blessing, you get to find out how shoddy they are sooner rather than later.

I've moaned about this lots of times, but nowadays the manufacturers add lipstick to the darts as a way to differentiate them and bump up the price(often by double!). It's why I only bother with plain silver coloured darts. No frills, no player names attached, and all I'm paying for is the dart.

It happened to me two days ago with my Winmau Joe Cullen darts. I bought a used set and wanted to clean it first. I used soap and tooth brush and after drying them out with the towel I noticed the red color kinda peeled off. I was able to get rid of all the color in the rings just with my nails. As I think it looks better with the color though, I painted it back with a sharpie.

This set.
