Voxs Steel Toe-Line Checker
Anyone ever have any issues with this tool? I ordered from A-Zdarts.com and the first one that came was missing the notch at the 5'8" mark which come to find out from A-Z, this was a defect in Voks' product...so A-Z had Voks send me one direct from Voks' warehouse to replace my faulty line checker.

The new one that came straight from Voks had the mark at 5'8" yet both the original line checker I was sent and the replacement one seem overall short.

At minimum the line checker should be 9'7" & 3/8ths. With two of us measuring the length...like max we can get it to read 9'5".

Anyone have previous experiences with this tool??
Current Setup - 24g Xtreme Piranhas from Dartworld. Bull Hypo points. Plastic short shafts from Mueller's with Amazon standard flights...punched to support shaft springs.

Butchered this a little bit ... What I meant to say is this line should be at minimum 9'7" & 3/8ths OR 115" & 3/8ths of an inch.

When we stretch it out as far as possible it is only 115" max. So its at best missing the 3/8ths. I'm going to email Voks directly and ask them whats going on with this tool.

No not at all. I didn't get that one because my buddies told me it was a POS. I'll try this one because Voks' clearly isn't accurate lol.

never seen it before
are you using it for home use
or checking pubs or tournaments?
plum-bob or string w/nail some masking tape and a tape measure is all i need.

What's the scoop on the portable oche toe line? I see them and wonder why my masking tape isn't good enough. I can understand the floor being protected and the wife would like a better mat than I use but so far the wood floor isn't showing much damage. I guess in time it'll be dimpled

What happened to a good ol' fashioned tape measure? One can be had for roughly the same price.

What's difficult about a tape measure? Must be a yankee thing lol

No... definitely not a yankee thing. I was the one who mentioned it in the first place!
