Shot Darts

Pre game warm up
would like to hear what everyone does in their pre game warm up.
I have heard from team mates in my league they shoot for the trip 14, I pearsonally throw high, low, left, right, but don't exactly pick a spot to hit. well what do you guys/gals do?

Gulp three mugs of ice cold beer then try to bend for 60 seconds.

Seriously, I do some arm stretching and deep breathing exercises.

I agree with the beers. Or A few shots. Nothing warms me faster.

I spend 10-20 minutes just throwing at the board no particular number just an area. Then top of board at double 20's this makes me extend my arm and follow through- If cricket my first game next is three darts at all cricket numbers starting with 16's ,19's.17,15's .18's, 20's then bulls. End up shooting at least 9 darts at the bulls. Stats have shown the cork winner has 4-6% better odds of winning the leg.
If playing 01 different warm up altogether- Still 10-20 minutes random throwing, still throw at tops for arm extending. Shoot t-20's-19'18''17's 16's,15' , 14's.10's then shoot primary doubles, and around the board on singles and ending up on Bulls. Total time around 40 min.

Usually by the time I get warmed up throwing around the double ring I'm too tired to go on. After a couple pints at least i can say I did warm up before the match though

I start with a cross. d20 bull d3 then d11 bull d6. Gets me sighted in

I usually site my arm, so to speak, on the bull for a few throws. I than walk the cricket numbers till I close out each number including the bull. I than Go at the doubles on the left side for doubling in with 301. If there is time I will play a game of dub in/out 301 by myself.

There are a couple of guys in my league who say the same thing. I don't have much of a warm-up routine. Its usually just three or four throws before the match aiming at the 20 and Bull. And a beer of course! When I show up early and there is a free board I'll do a fifteen minute warm-up that's basically the same as my practice routine. I aim at each of the cricket numbers and throw at least six to nine darts at each, and maybe twelve darts at the bull. Just enough to loosen my arm up and zero in my aim. And have another beer of course!

about 100 darts and a few beer works for me.

Usually drink a beer or two and throw threeof each cricket number and then I play 27 to work on doubles.

I find it amusing that beer and/or spirits is part of most of our warm up routine.

Nothing gets you forgetting about form better than a drink or five.
