Harrows Darts.

Keith Dellers old darts
What was Keith throwing here? Are they Datadart? They are whiteish due to chalk he kept in his pocket.

Not sure, they look kind of chunky (or, fairly heavy) with a short point though (judging, by how deeply they are in the board) and they seem to have ten rings.

Usual set up :- 23 gram, darts clearance (no name scalloped darts) with a 50 mm barrel, 41 mm nylon shafts + standard flights.

Trying out, red dragon 24g hell fire b with kite flights + 41 mm nylon stems (flying well, debating on sticking with these).

Various random, other darts, on my rotation, from 18 to 26 grams.

I'm sure Deller was with B&W around the time he was using these although I don't recognise these particular darts. Looks like they have a knurled ring grip.

Remembering reading the darts he used to play with were nothing like the signature darts his sponsors made. They do look short and chunky with short points. Didn’t realize how much chalk he uses, those barrels look weird being all white.

Deller was infamous for the amount of chalk he used. In his video "Darts: The John Lowe Way" Lowe commented that he thought it was illegal because the amount of chalk Deller left on the board was obscuring the target.

They look a lot like Datadart Omega.

Hi guys

I've spoken to Keith and seen these up close.

They are about 36mm long and 6mmsomething diameter and 20g on weight.

Think the points were 18mm

I did do a post years ago on it but think itw as archived.

He never used any of those Target releases.

Agree they look like the datadart, however they were unreleased Targets

He was using the same ones in 1994 - before Targets existence.   In this match against Jim Widmayer it says Keith is using 16g.

Hi ya

Those are his unicorn ones

Those look different, its probably the chalk hiding the machining that made them look the same darts.

(Although, I still know nothing about them, well I wouldnt, without input from other people, thx NiteEyes).

These seem to have ten rings and a rather flat front end, like someone else said they could be knurled, under all that chalk (judging by the pattern in the chalk, thx JockyOche78).

And these seem to have four, with a more dome shaped nose on them, they look fairly smooth (to me, at any rate).

The darts in the second screen grab, definately cant be very chunky, because, there is one stacked on top of the other on an old wire framed board, with a load of room left in the bed.

Hi guys

The ones in the 90s are the middle one in the pic.

I think the first one is winmau, middle one unicorn and end one b&w
