Custom Darts Drawings Help
I am getting a set of custom made darts done, but need a decent picture of the barrel shape I want.

I know all the dimensions I require, but was hoping for a very easy user friendly app that I could use, or access to a number of dart barrel templates I could use as examples.

Any help appreciated

I clocked this ages ago, if you are like me (useless at computer graphics).

Give them the dimensions you have, length, diameter, grip level you require (which is pretty important) basic shape etc (maybe even a photo of your current favourate darts, you would like the new ones, based on) with a note where you place your fingers and stuff (which might be a bit different) with the kind of grip style / grip level, you want there (to line up with your own grip and that) the nose shape etc, I expect they might help you design / draw it out (as a concept, to check it out, they might charge (dont know)) via pm (just a guess, but, expect they might, help) we arent all good at cad, even if we have a rough idea of what we want, in our head.

I expect you can probably analyse your own grip, on an existing dart you use already, as a rough guide for grip placement and stuff and maybe make a rough sketch, with the grip type you want and where (if you need to).

The more of an idea you have, that can be worked off, the better, i expect.

Have noticed some good feedback from the work these do, so, worth looking into.

Dont think there are many custom dart makers left out there (its notoriously hard to machine tungsten) because, its a very hard, dense and brittle material to machine, the tools used need frequent sharpening / cutting edge grinding and i think tungsten can chip, if the tools loose their cutting edge, or, if its cut wrong (wrong depth (probably too deep) or, the wrong speed) which, all, makes it, a bit of a specialist job.

Its not every day most of us get a set of darts made, so, give as much info as you can, its more likely, they will end up, to be right.
Usual set up :- 23 gram, darts clearance (no name scalloped darts) with a 50 mm barrel, 41 mm nylon shafts + standard flights.

Trying out, red dragon 24g hell fire b with kite flights + 41 mm nylon stems (flying well, debating on sticking with these).

Various random, other darts, on my rotation, from 18 to 26 grams.
