Attaching Non-Image Files
We have myDropZone for attaching pictures, and a Guide for embedding videos. However a few members attach other file types as well. This FAQ deals with those file types.
If the file type is permitted, attachments per post is 3. *Most* types are limited to 512k per attachment, although some exceptions exist. Attachments are done via the myDropZone system, which will detect non-image files and attempt a classic "attach" operation. This is where the file is stored on our host - so a different process than pictures.
Most common examples we see are Excel, PDF, and text files. Not getting into an exhaustive list for obvious reasons, but if you're having an issue with non-image type files - you'll need to contact an admin.
