Condor Flights

Here is a short review on the Condor Flight system!
Here I have to styles...Slim and Standard, flights are very similar to the Cosmo line! I find them to be a little more of a rubbery feel to them!

One of the things I like about them is that they are very flexible, which allows for tight grouping!

One downfall is that when they bend they do not bounce back to 90 degrees....but if you help them along, they seem to do fine!

So as I said earlier, these are a lot like the Cosmos, you will have to keep them in a case to hold their shape! With that being said, they are more forgiving then Cosmos....easier to re-shape if bent!!

So my final verdict is that they are just as good as cosmos but do not hold up to Steel tip darts like the Cosmos do! Cosmo flights have a metal stem up through the center of the flight which makes it handle the pounding of the other darts! After an hour of tight grouping, the Condor Flights started to split near the top of the flight!
The Condor Flight System would be excellent for soft tips and cost around $10 for shaft and flight combined! Half of what the Cosmos cost!
So all and all I give them a high 8 out of 10! Would like to see something made a little stiffer, so that that shaft would bounce back!!!

just out of interest for far of are these from all in one bar flights in terms of quality . i know you are limited in terms of shape and size with them but the difference in cost is huuuge !

I quite like the condor flights but I do think the way they bend so much can affect their straightness but it can easily be bent back to shape.

I tried them ages ago - probably not too long after this thread started - and wasn't keen on them. Yes they were more bendy than the all in one pub flights you can get, but I didn't see any benefit to my game so got rid of them.

Ive got a set which has been used on soft tip darts every now and again and they still look new. I also just lob them in a box with all my other darts stuff and while the lstyle flights got a bit bent these are still good as new.

I got a set a while back for the steel tips, but they did not suit my darts. I have not really used them until the new barrels showed up.

Throwing one night at home seems that they are a good match for the new barrels. I like that the shafts bend when grouping. I also like that I don't have to pick flights up off the floor. It *looks* like these barrels and this flight system work well together. We'll see if the novelty lasts.

Speed-wise, they are definitely on the slow side.

Yeah, they definitely give you some drag/lift....you're definitely right about being on the slow side. It's kind of cool though because you're able to watch them in flight/instantly see any odd flight patterns. If you have a fan/AC blowing, you'll see an instant change in accuracy/trajectory.

I think they work better with lighter darts with a non-aggressive barrel grip. I used them with 14g Hankey's and found them to be a great combo.

That's hilarious, I'm using them with 24 gm darts that have a dual ring grip over most of the barrel!

You having any issues with destroying them? That was my biggest concern with throwing them on heavier darts. Smooth/lighter darts are very easy on flights.

I've just started with them. It is really too early to say. Who knows though, yesterday nights success with them could be an aberration, and they'll go back in the flight box.... will keep you posted if I actually adopt them. I think I to change things around too much. Should just leave something in place for a month or so.
