Hi guys,
As suggested I've created this thread for all things related to the DartMan application and website ( https://dartman.mickhynes.com).
Please post any bugs, suggestions, feature requests or any other things related in here. Hopefully we can build this into something really great Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.
I'll keep this first post updated with what is being worked on, known bugs/issues etc if that helps?
Getting Online
An FAQ is now on the site to assist with getting online. If you are having difficulty, click here and follow the steps to see if this helps you getting online.
Known Bugs
No known bugs at present - though Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.
16th June 2014: DartMan 2.2.0.0 released. New online play, and user interface layout. Please advise of any feedback, bugs etc in this thread.
21st May 2014: A complete redo of online elements is almost complete. I am ironing out some video stuff, as well as communications bits and pieces. This version has also restructured the entire user interface, hopefully making it more tidy and accessible. It also makes it extendible as I was hoping, so that I can add new games much easier (such as 'halve it' or as we call it 'into europe', Golf etc). Hope to have an update soon.
11th Jan 2014: Online play is in very late testing stages, so I will be releasing a beta version of this for you guys to trial very soon. I know I've said that before, but the bugs fixed in the latest version needed to be addressed before the online functionality be implemented as I would like.
Cheers,
Mick

Ok, other than the public humiliation of having some truly horrid darts posted for the world to see, I am impressed...
good fun and some nice features so I will be back for more (and hopefully in better form!)

Feeling unsatisfied with my play is what drives me to practice harder and more often. I'm no pro... but if you look at the past 6 months, there is clear improvement. It isn't just about accuracy, it is all aspects of the game. Strategy, math, handling pressure.... growth happens every day.

I am on a whole neither satisfied or unsatisfied. Things either are or are not and while there may be a level I would like to be at, I know i am only as good or bad as the dart in my hand.
That being said, I agree with you that good practice is the key to improvement in this game!
Handling pressure is a big one for me, but progress comes with experience !

I've just released an updated version with a number of bug fixes. This release fixes bugs that had to be fixed before online could work as I wanted it to. So the next release will include a beta version of online for you guys to try and test (and hopefully like!). I'm certain it won't be too long now (days), as testing is going well now.
Fixes are detailed here.
Thanks for the feedback guys, it's much appreciated! Keep it coming (good or bad), as well as suggestions/tips etc!
Cheers,
Mick

Hi David. The reason it doesn't save automatically, is in case you enter a winning score by accident, it gives you 10 seconds to click Cancel and edit/correct the score. Or else just click OK to continue and save.
Couldn't think of a better way of doing that? Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.
Glad you're enjoying it!
