I know I complain about the karaoke that plays on my tuesday dart night. But I do like music. I also have respect for most other music (maybe not rap so much). So I figured why not see what everyone prefers. Post videos, lyrics, band names, genre or whatever, lets see what you NutZ like.
I am into heavy metal/ hardcore. Clutch, Slayer, Anthrax, E-Town Concrete, Hatebreed and a bunch of other popular and local metal bands. I also have a thing for 80's music, not sure where I got that from though.
I will leave you all with a little something, I think this song was meant for the metal crowd.

Karaoke is not music. It is an evil incarnation contrived by folks that are totally tone deaf and who could not carry a tune in a 5 gallon bucket. To top it all off, they like to screech at the top of their lungs to further emphasize their lack of talent for all within earshot to know notes like that were only meant for bats and dogs to hear.

I'm a huge fan of the Blues. (BB King, Buddy Guy, Robert Johnson, etc)
Love my Classic Rock/Southern Rock/Hippy Era. (Zeppelin, Doors, Hendrix, The Dead, etc)
90's Alternative / Grunge (Not this new crap they call "Alternative")(Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, etc)
Some country, but very little of the newer "Pop Country" crap. (Cash, Hank, Willie & Waylon)
Not a fan of rap, although I can tolerate the older 90's stuff.
I'm a fan of pretty much anyone who can truly sing or play an instrument.
Some of the newer stuff I've listened to:
The Black Keys
Jack White
John Mayer (Although he is a douche, the guy can play)
Lindsey Stirling (If you enjoy violins)
Kacey Musgraves
Brantley Gilbert
Company of Thieves

I've just recently discovered a new instrument (new to me, anyway), and a young artist who can play the hell out of it.

There is a band Clutch you may like. They have a lot of blues and rock influences.

Love the blues. Bukka White, Robert Johnson, Robert Cray, Stevie Ray Vaughn, B.B. King, Bonnie Raitt, etc.
Older country with the likes of George Jones, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, George Strait, Randy Travis, Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, etc. One of my uncles had over 3,000 vinyl albums, all old country and I grew up listening to that stuff.
Then there was Dean Martin, Ray Charles, Perry Como, Ray Price, Andy Williams------jeez the crooners I have listened to over the years.
Being from New Orleans, there was Pete Fountain, Al "Jumbo" Hirt, Dr. John, Irma Thomas, Professor Longhair, Ernie K-Doe, Fats Domino, Louis Armstrong, to name a few.
Music has had a huge influence in my life and the only stuff I really don't care for is rap, hip-hop, not too keen on heavy metal, and abhor that techno stuff.
Bottom line is, I'm old and set in my ways.

Sierra Hull is awesome thanks for sharing..............for me it's all good but not into metal or rap..........my roots are in the 60's. I was exposed to a lot of everything. My heart is with blue grass, having my grand dad a coal miner in SouthEast Ohio it's all they did. Music on the front porch while moon shining in the cellar. I was a lucky kid and didn't realize it a the time.

I can listen to and enjoy most kinds of music, rap and punk not so much though, my daughter and son in-law are in punk bands, but that stuff is a bit to raw for my tender ears. but Floyd, led zep, j tull, stones zz top, men at work, scorpions, new riders of the purple sage, outlaws, aerosmith, ted nugent, chistian bands as well, the temptations, drifters, smoky robinson + 50's & 80's, well you know there is way to many to name I would be here all night. nice flashing back to all these excellent bands I been able to see and those I was unable to

I'll listen to just about anything, although I lean towards 50's Rock 'n' Roll these days.
