2019 World Masters

Your right it's just a big nameplate saying " Winmau World Masters Champion " with Mens Or Ladies champ, easily could of been fixed to say One80 / L-Style, also it could be full of past winners but sure another ring could be added by any trophy maker

or the winner could've just held it round the wrong way for all the pics like John did with the new trophy before Scotty turned it round for him.
bless.

This has not been a great event for the BDO, farce with draw, not enough quality player in the field and some of the averages on a final day summed that up. The players deserved better.

I really enjoyed the coverage, and found the games all mostly a good watch.

re the averages.  you are aware that 3 of the 4 bdo finalists all averaged more than the 'professional' PDC runner up on the same night?
and Ana only averaged 2 points per dart less.

Just spoke to John. He said the BDO didn't want to pay to have it changed. He's gutted that he didn't get it.

Well, that's a disgrace. Not surprising though sadly, with what has gone on in the past week.

If that is the case then they really should have presented the trophies as they currently stand and arrange to have them changed at a later date

Bad form that from the BDO and unfortunately for them shows how far down they've come. It couldn't have been that expensive to change a name plate.

Non of which are the players I mentioned, but when the PDC has sub 80 averages in the last 8 I will call it out too.

Just seen a great video with Mace and perhaps the Trophy is down to a lack of money, how he talked it is critical.

Didn't see much of the INDO stream last night - basically just the first pairs match - but John O'Shea was presented with the trophy last night.  I don't know if they finally removed the Winmau mention or not, but good to see The Joker finally get his hands on the trophy.
