A couple of them wear grey trousers, but I was thinking they had to wear dark trousers as well - bit eye catching though

Personally I think he has taken the 'gimmick' too far, I know its a bit of fun, possibly against the dress code (up to PDC to determine) but personally I think the outfit looked pathetic - but its up to him, probably being paid a fair wedge to wear it too.

If he was playing rubbish darts I would be against it but he is brilliant so he can do as he wishes

He CAN'T do as he wishes just because he is good at the sport. He looked ridiculous. I don't mind his over the top hair style or colourful shirts but the trousers were too far. He was breaking rules but the PDC won't mind as it's bringing 'character' to the sport.

I know the popularity in darts is still decent in European countries. In the rest of the world not so much especially so in the U.S. There are characters in all sports whether it's kicking a spotted ball on the lawn or throwing around a pigskin. It helps with bringing viewers and potential customers to sponsors. So I am sure when it comes to the big names in darts they give a bit of leeway when it comes to certain rules. Also I am sure there were "donations" paid to the league from the clothing manufacturers.

Why not allow someone a bit of expression? Time to loosen up the belt and have a bit of fun. Within reason of course, at least he had clothes on, unlike those spotted ball kickers who rip off their clothes every time they kick the spotted ball.

I thought his outfit was reminding me of Dennis Rodman or the Birdman playing professional basketball in USA. They bring spectators to the sport. Those guys were/are good enough to get away with it. I know in other sports guys would just pay the fines and get on with it no matter if there were dress codes.

Les Wallace played in kilt wasn't that also against the rules

Its a difficult one to call to be honest. Personally I think he looked a right tit in this outfit. Thing is, a lot of people thought Anderson's shirts were over the top, but judging by the crowds, the company behind it sold a fair few. This outfit though is over the top, but he is getting paid for it, and the likelihood is that many spectators will buy them, as it is certainly the case that a large percentage of the spectators are in fancy dress, and you can bet your bottom dollar that there will be a fair number in the audience wearing this get up at upcoming tournaments, if not the remaining weeks at this one!

What a rip-off!

when Gary Anderson's shirts came out, I looked on the Foul Fashion website and from memory the shirts were less than £30, which I thought was reasonable, as designer shirts are more than that, and considering how much football fans pay for shirts, I though it was about right.

However, these prices are just daylight robbery, and no doubt the odd mug will buy the outfit (saw one guy in the crowd wearing the shirt last night), but I can't see them being too popular, I mean for the outfit you are talking £133 - shocking!!
