A useful tip for those with bladed boards, when you get burrs on the wire edges the best way of restoring them is to use a fine abrasive lap stone.
The very best tool for the job is a medium grade 'Diamond Hone & Stone' from EZE-LAP see:- eze-lap.com/products
By using this tool it easily brings the edge back to a fine point.
Most importantly it is thin and one side is covered in a smooth nylon which means you can really get into those narrow spaces and you won't damage the sisal when honing the wire!
Seriously, you would think it was purpose-built for this job.
