Has anybody got any experience using smooth barrel darts?
How would you rate the amount of grip?
I'm considering a 22gm or 23 gm with a length of no longer than say 42 mm in a 90 or 95% tungsten???any ideas.
Cheers

Yes, I have tried the Jenkins, Datadart Orion and a couple of others. No problems for me with the grip, but if you suffer from dry or cold hands I think you will have issues. I think I liked the Datadart orion the best though.

Jenkins, Hankey and Andy Smith darts are all great - as Darren says though, they are no good if you have cold or dry hands. I've not tried the Datadart Orions, but I believe they came out of the original Jenkins darts when he was going to sign for Datadart

I have never thrown a smooth dart but if hands are cold I hear slippery they be. Not for me as I may be drinking a cool one lol. Good luck and let us know how ya get on with what ever you buy.

Ive recently started throwing Jenkins got natural and black in a swap, the black seems to be a bit slippery to me but surprised how grippy the natural version feels. Tried Hankeys and cant get on with them, got them up for sale.

I've got some copper tungstens that are smooth except for a couple rings at the very front. Very grippy, especially when they get warm. Almost gummy.
26's so far this year: I've already lost count. :-)

That pic must be deceiving, they look longer than 42mm?

I have dry hands but dont have major grip problems with hankey darts. I just lick my fingers before each set of 3 darts.
