Darts Buddy

Looking for advice on modifying the grip on a barrel
Hi all,

One of my primary sets I like to use is my 23g Harrows Diva Dark X, they feel great, fly well and unlike most straight barrel darts (to me) , feel good in the hand.

However, as you can see in the pics below, between the 2 ringed areas is a smooth section which is my one dislike here, I am half tempted to send it to madhouse darts to get a bit of grip put in the section, but I was also wondering if anyone here knows any darts that are similar in appearance & style, but with grip all the way down?

As always, any advice is greatly appreciated!

Also a few of the Japanese inspired darts may fit the bill, eg monster, dynasty,a180.

They do looks good, specialty the ones on DC, but very expensive, I think if it came to it I'd spend £15 on modifying the ones I know unless anyone has any sub £25 suggestions? My play skill doesn't justify anything more costly!

I noticed a couple of the suggestions above are for razor/shark grip all along the barrel - if this is what you want then you could do far worse than McCoys Sabergrip from Pure Darts - only £17.49 for the natural version - great set of arrows at the price

I'd get them modified, then you get what you want if you really like the darts your using, i dont see paying more for darts when you have set that you like and its cheaper then buying new darts

A genuine thankyou to you all for the replies & suggestions, I think I'll speak to madhouse about modifying the grip as I know the darts, it's the only thing wrong with them, would be silly in clearer thought to start Trying to try a new set and have them maybe not work as well for me, adding on to that I do fancy some slightly longer storm points on there, the same as on my other darts, so they could add them too as I don't have a tool!

I guess the question is what grip might work between the 2, thinking more grippy than just rings, and to go for gold or silver points on them?

Stick with Harrows and get the Assasin Plus. Very similar with rings all the way down.

My 24g Fitton Silica aside, I don't really get on with one constant grip, especially on straight darts, I'm a fussy one Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.
