Loading paper flights in Dorwin brass darts
I have recently acquired a couple of sets of older Dorwins, in need of flight replacement.

Is it just a matter of pulling out the old and pushing in the new? Or is there some trick.

The wires are fairly strong and I don't want to cause any damage.

I thought maybe inserting a blade of a table knife, twisting slightly to separate the wires and then sliding in the new flights against the knife blade.

Or am I over-complicating the process.

Thanks, Geoff

I've got loads of sets of Dorwins - one of my favourite old brands - but I've never tried changing the flights over. I'm not sure but I think the clip should pull out as I'm sure one of my sets has some spare clips with it. I'll see if I can find that particular set later and give it a go.

" Should just pull out "

Do you mean the clips containing the flights?

Or the flights from the clips ala sideloader stems?

Thanks

The clips should just pull out then you place the new flights inbetween the clip then push the ends of the clips back in.
