This got me thinking about the prices of them and what I paid back before time.  Bought my first set of GT's in 1986 for $140.  That is the equivalent of $318 today.  Geez, what was I thinking back then.

I have retired those due to the old style stems, but fortunately got a near new set from Puddin and begin throwing again.  Like them so well, I just added the Soft Tip version for some local bar tournament play.

Yes, I am one official NUT now  Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.

Aren't they pretty!!
Got to thinking, Where did you buy them? I have never seen a set of bottleson gt’s anywhere near $140? Even the old style
Bought my set off Ebay for about 80 bucks I would say about a month ago.

I remember the Bottelsen originals having MSRP’s of ~$95 and the (old, push-in style shaft) GT’s having MSRP's ~$140 around 1991-93.   I had set up a vendor relationship with Bottelsen and I used to sell those things.   I gave a discount off of MSRP, so I moved a lot of them.

I like a lot of the Bottlesen Dart styles, the knurling is well done and not over-the-top like some Dart makers I have seen.

I bought my Daughter her first Dart set over a Decade ago, (Bottlesen 23g Great White 2392GW7) and she still Loves them and plays with them to the day.

I agree with much of what has been said in this thread. I love me some Bottelsens, no joke. I have many sets, GT, and otherwise. But they are too expensive to buy brand new. I like them because of the style mostly. I have never bought into the reduced bounce out theory, but I like moving points anyway.
