If you have any feedback you wish to share on using the Cosmo Fit Flight System or any of Cosmo Darts products then please post it here.
Also if you have questions to ask or any other matters. Cosmo darts will look in from time to time and check up on what is been said, they cant promise to answer questions immediately as they dont have a lot of spare time, so please be aware of that.
Thanks!

Umm ok
For me being a steeltip player I found that I can tear those flights up anywhere between 1 set or 1 week (If im lucky), and thats with tridents, The material is far to fragile for heavy steel tip darts but would be fine for softip use.
I also think that on the spinning system they have not utilised ALL THE CAVITY of the flight, the stem could sit deeper thus ensuring less movement as these things DO RATTLE AND WOBBLE, and no I didnt put them on a fixed stem first.
Will not use them until they toughen up the flight but it seems that they are going the other way in that respect.
Far to expensive for a couple of days use, I'll stick to me Wizlock's

Totally disagree. My flights last at least 3 mos. I play an avg of 2 hrs per day and use Storm points. My darts are 25-26gm as yours Dirty G. Maybe you throw a lot harder than me. Strange going on's here. wiz-locks - and you being an Ozzy Guests cannot see images in the messages. I think you have to actually get one dart next to the other. bwhahahaha
jokes!!!
Maybe due to the fact that during this period the barrel I was using although had tridents also had a steep bullnose like a phase 2 and combined with the fact that they had too sharp a tip didnt help. I scuff the hell out of my tips on a fine grade belt sander and they stick so well that I will still throw at the target even when a dart is hanging, and it wont get knocked out, I think that taking these shots when a dart is laying at a strange angle I am piercing the flight with the incoming dart. I know not to make the point needle sharp but on the first scuff it some times happens but I let them get blunt over time and only scuff them again about every second week just before comp and leave the very tip rounded.
I wouldnt say Im a hard thrower, about Barney pace

Hahahahaha - I love Phase ll darts except for that bull nose! I think you hit it right on the head G with the analogy of why you tear up so many flights !

Dirty, are you using the regular, or the air? Fit Airs are super flexible, compared to the more rigid regular ones. I can see how the regular ones would tear easily, but not the Airs.

My Carreras killed two flights within about 15 minutes of me first getting them (the darts that is) - prior to this I had used the Fit Flight system on my previous darts for around 18 months with the flights lasting for ages. I'm still using normal flights with the Carreras, currently with phase 5 sideloader stems, but now I have storm points on them I may go back to the Fit Flights at some point in time - I need to get some use out of the shed load of Fit Flights I have lol.
It is a very good system, albeit expensive. The flights with my sideloaders are lasting a lot longer than with nylon stems, so I don't think I'd be able to justify the cost to myself if I was just starting to use them now. Cut the price by 30-40% and it would be different.

I guess if the barrel is an aggressive grip and heavy its going to increase the chance of damage, its a consideration the individual needs to take into account when trying the cosmo system. I have had flights that have lasted a few month and some that have lasted a few days, its always going to be a possibility that a heavy and awkward contact will damage them just as it would with any flight.
I think the spin shafts do help in that respect and I dont think there is enough noticeable wobble or rattle with the spinners to be off putting but we are all different and thats why its a system thats a bit like marmite, some will love it and some wont but you wont know until you try it.

I bought a set a while back. Destroyed one flight the first day, and deflected an otherwise good shot. On the one hand, my darts may have been a bit sharp. On the other hand, the spinny-ness is useless if it doesn't work. Bought a new set of flights. Within another couple of days, in mid-match a dead-center robin hood broke the little lip in the stem that holds the flight in place. Argh!

No kidding. A few of the guys I play with regularly have been using them happily and without problems for quite a while now. I'll admit I have a couple other gripes with the Cosmos that have nothing to do with their fragility. I find the spinny thing weird when I have the darts in my feeder hand, and I like wallets.

Tapered and almost entirely smooth. They were brand new at the time and the points on them seem to be made of some sort of ultra-high-carbon steel that's ridiculously sharp right out of the package, which I'm sure contributed to the problem. Yet I have only myself to blame. Sigh.

I have used the L-flight system (very good IMO) I even bought the little punch and did my own flights with the ring thing. I switched to Cosmos because of the ease of putting flights back on and the over all toughness of the product. Down side is still the cost IMO. The Gear line much tougher stems and air or fit flights good ( I use either).

Don't understand people saying the air flights last longer- no way is this true. The regular fit flights last a long time, air flights I have ruined several in one night. I won't buy them anymore, ok for soft tips but still too fragile.
