Around 1984 our family used to own a caravan. Nearby to the site at a place called Glasson Dock was a little pub we used to frequent and on the bar they had some house darts in a charity box, the charity box was a lifeboat, and obviously to use the darts you was expected to make a donation to the lifeboat. I had my own set then and didn't use it, but would love it in my collection now, and unfortunately I didn't take much notice of the darts placed in it.

I think they were in a lot of pubs, not sure if they are these days though dont think so.
