Nicky Virachkul darts by Accudart Very Rare
I'm sure there must be more sets out there, but this is the only set I have seen.

Nicky Virachkul was a famous U.S. player from the 70's and I think early 80's originally from Thailand, he died in 1999 I think.

I remember those wooden cases with my first accudart purchase from the early 80's.

is it a trick of the light, or are those flights bubble effect?

lovely darts and what a great case too, although it looks a bit on the heavy side.

LOL I think it may be the flights glue has degraded, I will have to get them out and have a closer look.

ah I was thinking the bubble effect was really clever looking, I love the effort that has gone into vintage cases, they're amazing I love the Halex one on your flikr pics and the leather one with the bullseye hammerheads in

I think those are resealing flights -- that's what they look like after a while. And all along I thought "vintage bubbles" came in a bottle.
26's so far this year: I've already lost count. :-)
