Fansteel Golden Eagle Darts Very Rare

I dont know the full story about Fansteel so if any one does then please let me know. I am not sure if Fansteel was bought out by Laser Darts or if Laserdarts are Fansteel and they changed their name.

These are a rare set of Golden Eagles and have a golden Ni-ti coating which has more of a matt like feel which I kind of like better than the regular Gold ti coating, it seems to be grippier.

These are as new really, just aged a little through storage.

The leather case that comes with them is made of very thick leather.

you can see how different they look even from the pictures (from the matt finish sense)

not heard of the company myself although cracking looking darts. what year are they from ?

wonder if companies have to pay them when making shark grip darts or similar ? strang the angle of a cut can be patented !

I think these were from late 80's or early 90's.

Quite an interesting history for that company too.

Not sure how a patent could be granted for a grip, seems unlikely they could have it patented.

Great news to see a brand new set of Fansteel darts posted here. I don't know much about the manufacturer but they never seemed to gain much popularity for some reason.

I had a set with the same leather case, except it didn't have the eagle on the right inside as this case does. I would love to pick up a set of these as mine mysteriously disappeared several years ago.

Mine were the Tungsten with the same leather case (very well worn!) but the grip was silver with black insets. I got them sometime in the mid 80's I think. If anyone runs across a similar set, I'd be interested - Thanks Jim

I seen some on ebay a few weeks back but not in as new condition.
