Had one in the car the other day. Must have been hiding in the door cavity. When I wound the window down and rested my elbow on the door, the bugger ran up me arm and across the back of me neck. Flicked the bugger off.......never did find the hairy, eight legged mongrel either.

I'm assuming it's not poisonous but not sure how I would react if I saw that on my board - couldn't you use it for target practice lol

Oh crap . That's a good idea for my gf to keep me off the board.
But maybe i would try to hit it. Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.

Feck that! How do people with arachnophobia cope in Australia when you have spiders like that running about!

Do you know what type of spider it is?

It's a brave one anyway as a stray attempt at double 5 could be the end!

Target practice is fun Mike, but there's usually a bit of juice to wipe up, lol. From what I understand they do have a bit of venom. I've seen people pick them up and get bitten, and they hang on for a while Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images..

They would have caused a few car accidents in their time Tezza.

It's called a Huntsman... I think because it 'hunts' rather than make a web.
