Tournament/Match Day Practice Routine
Does anyone have any routines they do the day of a tournament or match? Not sure if I'm overthinking things but here is the routine I usually follow.

In the morning (Doubles, Triples, and Low Checkouts):
9+ darts without aiming until my arm feels loose and warmed up.

A1
Around the world doubles including bulls
Around the world triples, plus three bulls (a double and a single count as 3)
Checkouts from 41-60 (six darts to close)

In the afternoon (Scoring and Checkout):
9+ darts without aiming until my arm feels loose and warmed up.

20 rounds at 20 (total the score for each hit as you would in 501)
20 rounds at 19
20 rounds at 18
20 rounds at bulls
A2
A3 (Flight School) or Cover shots, throw three darts in the following order. Count the triples only.:
20, 19, 18
20, 18, 19
19, 18, 17
19, 17, 18
20, 19, 17
20, 17, 19
20, 20, 19
20, 20, 18
20, 20, 17
19, 19, 18
19, 19, 17

Checkouts from 121-130 (nine darts to close)

Closer to time to leave (Bulls and Doubles):
9+ darts without aiming until my arm feels loose and warmed up.
A1
A2
Then raging bull (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzOdQwDGuus)
Around the world triples till it's time to go if I finish Raging Bull.

At the match location (Last step is really important):
A2
Practice game of 501
A2
Pint

I'd be ready for bed if I did all that for a pre match warm up.

I usually do A1, A2 and take out some key doubles at home.  Then at the venue I do A2 and a mini A1 again then some 170s or key doubles with some T20 smashing mixed in.

I usually do a short get ready warm up to start, then run an abbreviated A1. Then proceed to a run on doubles and trebles and finish with checkout practice. At the venue I'll do another brief warm up and work on doubles and checkouts.

Just curious.  How long on average does that take you?

Around 1 - 1 1/2 hours in the morning, around 2 - 2 1/2 in the afternoon, and I usually start throwing again about an hour before it's time to go.

Seems like a lot to be doing before matchplay for me but if it works for you then that's what matters Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.
personally, i find I have around 90 mins (sometimes less) spare before I leave. I start throwing at the 20's to warm up then round board doubles or some finishes and then a few 501 against the computer. When I get to the venue I like to find my range on the throw so mainly 20's and a few doubles.

I practice during the week to prepare and then on match day its just warming up more than routines etc

This is my Saturday tournament routine. If I'm playing during the week then I do an abbreviated practice. I work from home so I'm able to actually practice during my breaks from work. I've noticed that I usually throw better on Saturdays though. Especially when it comes to checkouts because I have to think less because I've usually already done most of the checkouts I'll come across in practice.

Fair play bud, your definitely putting the work in Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images. Most of my saturday tournaments are 1pm starts due to the size mainly, not that I ever make it past tea time Guests cannot see images in the messages.
