Hi guys,
Looking for some advice/suggestions. I have a set of 25g Bottelsen Hammerheads that I am looking to replace with something similar.

So what I am looking for is a long (50mm absolute minimum) tapered dart, preferably with a good grip (ring or razor). And I'd like 25g (although I could consider 24g)
I have so far tried 24g Unicorn Gripper IIs but they were a bit too short for my liking, and probably a gram too light for my absolute preference.
Winmau Testaments had the right length but unfortunately the razor grip doesn't go far enough back and my grip slips (and they were 24g).
Designa Razor grips are a bit too fat at the tip end, and the tapered version didn't go lower than 26g.
Any suggestions that aren't Bottelsen?

RD has these in 23g and 27g, my guess is they are probably sold out of the 25g, but they might get them in later:

Scotty Burnette darts from Shot, I've always wanted to try a set of these in 21 or 23g:

Those Red Dragons look an excellent suggestion, cheers! I'll definitely have a look around for 25g versions.
I'd seen the Scotty Burnettes before, and thought they looked just about right except that they are so bleeding ugly! I was hoping to find an ordinary steel version without the yellow and black nonsense, but i couldn't find them.

I know what you mean about the Shot darts. Not sure if they are painted or if its a PVD finish. If painted, maybe could be removed. Madhouse also carries them, you might ask them on here is painted or PVD.

I'm not sure if these are available from other sellers for less than 27g, but they would otherwise be perfect

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/REACTORS-TUNG...SwuTxWComT Those do look like they would be perfect, if only they were 25. I don't know what it is about tapered darts, but they always seem to skip 24 and 25 grams...
Ted Hankeys are available in 24g, which is a possibility ...

Hello Rano, welcome aboard the Nutz forum. :hithere:
Was going to suggest a set, but I see you already have. Hankey's are a nicely tapered barrel.

The Burnett darts are really nice, but absolute flight shredders! I actually found the yellow and black ones looked pretty nice in person.
Darts Warehouse had the plain tungsten ones for a while, not sure if they still do

Winmau Testament 24g
Used them as match darts for over 1,5 year.
They are 51.00 x 6.70mm with very good shark grip.
Here's a pic of my old set.

These are pretty close to the Scotty B's minus the gawdy colors: 9Ti's at DC

The Winmau stratos 25g might be worth a look but I recommend the Dpc dual grip 25g they are front weighted and the grip is great also there pretty reasonably priced at £25 there's a review by Neil Birkin on the Dpc website if you want to take a look

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I have got in touch with MadHouse Darts about having something custom made, so I think I will go with that. Probably better than going for something which is "not quite right but maybe it will work".

So I sent off a diagram with my specs and one of my Bottelsen barrels to MadHouse Darts, and got these sent back. Pretty happy with that. Obviously we couldn't have quite as aggressive a taper as the Bottelsens since I want to be able to use standard stems instead of the super skinny Bottelsen stems, so the rear of the dart needed to be thicker. And while I was at it, I asked for an extra ring to be placed between each razor grip section.
