Looking at the different Dart Boards available for sale nowadays some appear to have differing sector sizes. Surely there is a Dart Board specification, so everyone playing the game is shooting at the same size target? Otherwise what is the point of having Player averages or contest averages when the size of the target differs?
What are the official sector dimensions of the -
- Bullseye
- Outer Bull
- Treble sector
- Double sector
What are the above sector sizes for the different boards?

Getagrip covers this in his dartboard reviews, he did a review of just about any popular board out there so you should check those out.
Can't remember the official sizes but there is a limit.

WDF rules (used in WDF and BDO tournaments)
Treble and double sectors: 10.00 mm +/- 0.2 mm
Bull inside diameter: 12.7 mm +/- 0.2 mm
25 ring inside diameter 31.8 mm +/- 0.3 mm
The DRA rulebook, which is used in PDC tournaments, has no rules on segment sizes.

PDC seem to use the same BDO regs, as long as the apex to apex is +/- 0.2mm its fine.
