Ebay N.O.T.W medal
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200957447983?...1438.l2649

Normally I would love to bid on something like this but I just don't know its credibility. Iv'e never seen N.O.T.W medals in this style before, though it is quite a popular style medal seen on ebay all the time for 1930's darts medals, though Iv'e never seen a medal from this early in the Comp before. The area is right Holloway as it was only a London based comp at this point, but if it is genuine whoever S Hoy was he must only be a runner up in his house (pub) round, and maybe it was an incentive the pub offered themselves. I'm certainly not sure about it being anything official and worth a decent bid.

The official records for 1930 show the London area runner up to be.. W H Gentry (St Pancras)

I seen that the other day but thought it looked like many of the usual darts medals, hmmm I wonder is someone just engraved the back of it?

you know what looking at it again i believe the engraving on the back , it's the darts bit i don't believe it looks stuck on ! what ever was on there before someone has probably google news of the world competition and came up with darts , got a bit from a trophy shop and stuck it on , probably from the 1939 interoffice egg and spoon race !!!!

The description says 1930 - that may have been where you got that date from - it definitely says 1939 on the medal

I've been in touch with Patrick Chaplin (Dr Darts). He thinks that the medal may have been awarded at Area level. Certainly not the Championship or Regional level.
