Some one made a comment on my Darts Caddy review about a new stand called the Lean2Pro so I checked it out.
Here is the site: https://lean2pro.com.au/
Product page: https://lean2pro.com.au/store/lean2pro
$149 Australian dollars
Seems like a very simple idea but packs up very small and neat, if it works well it could be a good item to have especially for travellers who play darts.

Thats not too bad, would be better if it was around the £50 mark though.

Looks pretty good. The price though is a bit steep for a couple of metal poles. This could probably be done with some pvc piping.
Why is it these portable systems are so expensive? It's not like bending some metal is a difficult process. Maybe it is just me and this is what these things are supposed to cost.

the cost will down to the fact they don't expect to sell 10's of 1000's of units , they less they have made the more each unit costs to make. even if they made so many they'd be able to sell them for half that price i doubt too many more people would buy them. a dartboard doesn't take up that much room so most of the sales will be limited to people who travel about and want to take their board and there are quite a few options for that already

I got an email from the guy who made it, he has Paul Nicholson staying with him at present he is a good friend of his. He said Paul loves it but as he is with Unicorn cant endorse it. Also as it is a new company they will more than likely sell locally at first and he said he hopes the cost will come down if it gets popular but has also got a lot of accessories planned for it too.

idk this one is Anodised aluminium tubing that makes it look much better than any pvc pipe one.and really who could be bothered making one.
this one is the cheapest one I've seen! and I couldn't find any other stand that can be packed and transported in a standard suitcase! the other stands are all heavy metals that pack up into two or three large bags. so I reckon this one is the best on the market. it doesn't even take up much room unlike those tripod ones.

Yea I agree Mang, Not a bad price including the surround and ali being light helps with the traveling side of things Especially if your good enough to fly everywhere (I'll never have that problem) or have that kind of job, The unit should be rock solid as it is leaning against the wall as well, Those free standing wobbly stands gibe me the $hit$

ha yeah I don't travel but I used to and this stand would of come in handy while I was away at some tournaments. at one place we were staying in cabin, in a caravan park.it only had one small living area/kitchenette so having a small framed stand would of been perfect.
a guy called warren runs this website for 'wazzas world of darts' he put his review at the bottom of this page for the stand. he said it is very solid. https://www.wazzasworldofdarts.com/index...lean-2-pro

The Lean2pro wasnt too bad, solid enough but Shot have produced a beauty. A big price on it too, they want $350au for it. Rechargable light using usb connection, whitboards etc. We used them as a practice board at the Australian championships last week, bloody love em.
But alas I dont travel that much to need one.
