Hi all,
First of all, thanks for reading because it means you are trying to help. I have the following set-up right now; Target Adrian Lewis gen 1, 23 gram (medium Bull's slikstik, standard shape 100 micron flights).

I mainly love the coarser grip near the front (near the point). The micro grip at the back is also nice. I am looking for a new dart that is similar to this.
Shortly said, what I want it that the smooth part with the Lewis/Target logo on it should be grippy. I'd really like a barrel with that front grip all over, preferrably a slightly longer barrel also. What also is an option is a barrel with a similar grip at the front and a transition to some other (high) grippy section at the back.
If anyone has any ideas on darts that fit the description, I would appreciate it if you could let me know Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images. thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
WP

I know the grip is not quite the same but it still looks quite agressive, the dimensions are about the same as the Lewis dart. They are Designa Dark Thunder. I quite like them myself.

Well for that price it might be worth a shot.. Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images. thanks for the suggestion. It's a double ringed grip it seems, any idea if it's similar to Anderson's Phase 3?

Indeed, and it's a longer barrel which I like. Great find Joeri, thank you! Do you have experience throwing them?

Quite the dart them and the price is so low that everyone should have a set. Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.

Does anyone have experience with the Red Dragon Javelin?

The coarse but high grip level also seems similar.

My little brother got a set, only had 1 or 2 throws with them as he doesn't like me playing with his sets Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images. As far I could tell they felt nice and seemed of pretty good quality.

They're a nice dart, long and narrow with a high level of grip. Well balanced as well.

Seems you have a darting family. You are not the cousin of Van Gerwen are you??

I asked him and he finds them quite grippy, rear part too and the taper makes them group nicely.

I've thrown them yes, a little bit more grip than the Lewis's I'd say. Different feel though as the edges are a wee bit sharper.

Yeah it looks very very similar to the Ando phase 3, except the Designa looks like it has sharper edges. the Ando's looks more rounded. Have you tried the Ando's then?

The grip is really nice. Grippy but not sticky.
