Does anyone on here throw with voks?
I have looked at their site and like several of he designs but am hesitant to buy them because the last time I bought darts without trying them turned out to be a bad experience.
I had bought a set of gen-3 smartdarts and they are by far the worst dart I have ever thrown with, the points are very easily bent and I bounce as many out as I get in.

Bent points?!?!
Would like to see a pic of that, normally harden steel is used, so they will either snap or splinter, never heard of points bending.
You must have a special batch there! lol
vok's make some good quality darts.
If you worried about spending out maybe consider the 2nd hand market?
That way you can maybe try out a few sets.

From what I understand about Voks darts is this.
Voks manufacturers there on brand and I believe they also make Laserdart.
I know they also drill out the Dart Billets for Laserdarts line of Moveable point (EL-C) darts.
I have had a couple of sets of the EL-C Nobu & Bandit darts they are a well made dart. In fact I am fixin to buy a set of the Black Nobu's.

Why don't you call them and ask about their return policy? When I had a question about an old model, I called them and the fella I spoke to was very helpful and very nice. They seem like a small, family-run operation.
26's so far this year: I've already lost count. :-)

I recall hearing or reading that Voks was sold to somebody down in Florida.
If a movable point is what you want, I like the simplicity and operation of the Harrows Powerpoint better than the Hammerhead or Voks points.
Although Harrows, Hammerhead, and Voks use a 2BA thread for their points, the barrels may be drilled at different depths to accommodate the range of movement required for their proprietary point design.
This is off topic but.....all of them will accept a 2BA soft tip point....but the consideration depends on which organization you intend to play soft tip in because different organizations have different weight limit requirements.
