How do you like your darts to land in the board and do you think there is a good or bad way?
Also I was thinking that if we use the angle of how they land in the board to gauge how to tune our stems and flights how does that work when using soft tip?
Surely because of the holes the dart in a soft tip board will end up horizontal, or am I wrong in that assumption?

Flight up a bit for me as well.
I've not used a soft tip board but I have used soft tips on a normal bristle board - the points still go in using my normal throw and end up flat. Although I don't really like this I'm pretty sure the same thing would happen on a soft tip board. If the dart bounced out on a soft tip board it would still count the score of whatever hole anyway, so other than all the bending down I think I'd prefer them all to bounce out anyway lol.

i prefer them slightly flight up. which with my throw most darts tend to land , my soft tips on bristle all lay flatter . with steve beatons and phase 6 they both landed with the flight way up and no matter what set up i couldn't get them any flatter

I kinda like my darts to go flight up a little. I tend to have the darts go in at all kinds of angles though. Never threw a soft tip.

wait a minute, points that don't stick into the board, how will that work?
if it does not stick in then it wont count unless you mean for soft tip but I believe it already counts in that?

in soft tip as long as theres an impact in the scoring area it will count. you can press your fingers on it and it will work lol. and its not that bad of an idea.

I think that's probably why Mensur Suljivic throws the way he does, very direct line.
