Hi all.
Was playing with my 10g Red Dragon Featherlites today and was throwing. First went fine, then I felt something off on the second, like the stem had partially come out and was at an angle. Thought "Oh no, I haven't broken the stem have I?", looked at the darts and... uh.

Luckily I still have my guarantee card so it's covered and I bought these within the last year. Am now putting original point back in them but surely this shouldn't happen regardless of whether I've repointed or not?

That's odd..... Could be that the repointer damaged them though. With them being so small and thin the force could have weakened them as the breakage looks at the exact spot where the repointer is attached. (Assuming you have a repointer with 2ba thread.)

RED DRAGON, will happily sort this out for you, it appears to me that during the machining, the grooves near the barrel end were cut too deeply which may be due to a blunt tool tip.
Cheers & regards

RD most likely will sort it for you as they are pretty good, but for them to break like that you probably did weaken them when you did the repointing as joeriw96 says above. If they do send you another set I would suggest not repointing them in case it happens again.

10 grams and tungsten, not brass - right? Are they hollow?
26's so far this year: I've already lost count. :-)
