Here we have the newly re-packaged version of the Kim Huybrechts darts, I reviewed the 22g version before, you can see that review here: https://www.dartsnutz.net/forum/showthread.php?tid=8804
These are in the Premier range and now come with the new version of the Icon case.
They are the 24g and as well as the 22g version mentioned above there is now also a 26g version, they are 90% tungsten and retail for £33.
CONTENTS AND PACKAGING:
The darts come fitted with some alloy stems and Huybrechts signature flights and the new version of the Icon case. The version that came with the limited edition Anderson darts was made from a solid block of Aluminium, these new ones are exactly the same design but made from a kind of resin or moulded plastic, they are still very nice though Guests cannot see images in the messages. The darts are a straight barrel design with a smooth section at the front then knurled rings on the rear. The rings are quite wide but there is fairly deep grooves in between them. I would say its just a low medium grip but there is a little more edginess to the knurled rings than you would expect.

MY GRIP WITH THESE DARTS:
I don't think gripping right at the front was best for me but I think with the supplied set up it felt a bit floaty but when I tried some short stems the front grip like below was better Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.

Darts landed pretty much like my usual angle:

CONCLUSION:
This is a classic straight barrel dart and one that is likely to work well with a variety of grips but as I said before as a front gripper you have mostly a smooth section except for a deepish groove at the front but for me its not a big problem, although it would be nice to have some grip there I did not feel the darts slipping or anything, my only issue was with the supplied set up, those alloy stems I think are mediums but are a little longer than my usual mediums and also the slots are quite short so the flights tend to stick out longer too.
I got a little bit of fishtailing but not that much to be a problem and the darts had a floaty feel about them. After the video review I tried some short stems and they flew a lot better for me then with that setup.
As before when I tried the 22g version I felt the darts flew best from the middle, its kind of strange but they just feel easier to throw and more stable although I cant see I was overly accurate with them but they just feel better from the centre, its a weird feel at times, almost feels like your throwing nothing is as close as I can describe it Guests cannot see images in the messages. From the rear was all over for me but I think it was more me and the set up than the darts, obviously a natural rear gripper should feel and throw it a whole lot better there but I do think through the air it was maybe a touch more stable than the other grip positions.
So I think middle and rear grippers are definitely worth trying the darts and possibly they may be good for some front grippers if you don't mind a mostly smooth grip there.
Its nice to have the new version of the Icon case too, although the gold alloy version was best this new version still has a nice plush feel to it and makes a nice addition over the compact case that was there previously.
Summary Ratings:

Quality: 8 (nice quality)
Value: 8 (better with the Icon case now)
Suitability for me: 7.5 (fly well with short stems on)
Best Feature: As before that easy feel of throwing Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.
