Seems like it was a long night for several players last night with a few of the top players giving up before even playing. The ladies finished ok but I believe the mens finished around 2.30am this morning!!

Anyway, the England National singles semi finals, to be played on Sunday, are:

Ladies:
Deta Hedman v Fallon Sherrock
Lorraine Winstanley v Lisa Ashton

Mens:
Paul Harvey v Gary Robson
Scott Mitchell v Dennis Harbour

They will be streaming games from today's England Open from around 11.30am here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47-eyaAYB9c

Tomorrow looks like they will be streaming the stage finals for both singles events here from around 4.30pm - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsbuAECV6kE

Well done to Deta for not only doing the double last night, her win in the England National was also her 100th ranking title

A great effort from Deta.

Also pleased, predictably, for Glen Durrant

Yes, well done Deta. Threw great darts, a brilliant finals average. Deserved them 2 wins.

The ladies better look over there shoulders Beau Greaves is gonna be knocking on the door soon
Reply
Deta is apparently going to sponsor Beau to go to Jersey this year - if she carries on the way she is and doesn't get distracted by other things when she gets a little older, then she definitely has the potential to be a future world champ.
Reply
Thats good glad Deta is sponsoring her, like you said if she can keep it going she's gonna own the ladies darts she's what 12? and i watch her throw 76 avgs
Reply
Yes she's only 12 and already a regular in the ladies county A side - and given Yorkshire has one of the best BICC squads around that is quite an achievement
