Cosmo FIT Super Duralumin SLIM Shafts released
For those of you considering between the very expensive TI, or the heavy weight Super Duralumin NORMAL width shafts, the Super Duralumin SLIM Shafts have just been released, and seems to be just about the average weight(s) of an alloy shafts. A comparison below.

Hajime at WDS has already stocked them, and seems to be offering them at a lower price than what Cosmo put on their poster. https://w-darts.com/fit-duralumin-slim-shaft.html

Anyway, from the other thread in my first post:

(11-03-2015, 07:45 PM)Dmott Wrote: Sounds just like a stupid marketing name Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images., but a quick google search brought this up: "Super-duralumin is a patented trade name for an Alcoa alloy
(2014-T6) of aluminum, copper and manganese. It's widely used in
the aerospace industry and more recently in high-end bike frames
and now, apparently, in cameras."

Then googling "2014-T6 alloy" brought this link up: https://asm.matweb.com/search/SpecificMa...m=MA2014T6 , if somebody knows what all that means.

edit: I don't know if I am assuming something that isn't true, but... the "elongation at break" for the super duralumin is only 13%. I checked out grade 2 titanium on the same site, and it shows 20%. Maybe I am wrong, but I assume that means the duralumin is less elastic, which hopefully means more resistant to bending.

edit 2: Looks like I was wrong. The titanium has a higher "modulus of elasticty," which means it is stiffer.

Do these stems really last a long time? I still won;t be getting any as I think I'm done with fit flights from stems breaking...
feel it is hard to justify paying so much for stems.... My other question was, do they bend like other aluminum stems?
