I threw 100 D4's this morning.
Not 100 darts AT double 4. I stuck with it until I hit 100 of the friggin' things.
(with a brief break at 50). I didn't time it, but it took awhile. Longer that I would
have liked, but it's got to help next time I need to hit one.
I'm going to try to do this every day with a different number.

Erm, Yeah I could see the point of focusing on the main finishing doubles like D20, D16, D12 and your starting double for DIDO but not a lot of the others. Not completely pointless but time could be spent better.

I did 18's and it made me look forward to hitting them more. I used to hate D18's, still do but feel a bit better when I see them
I never did 100 though. I lose track counting.

I threw 100 D3's yesterday afternoon and 100 D1's today.
It's a lot of work, but I've already seen an improvement in
all of my throws. The repetition of throwing so many darts
at the same target over a long period of time really tightens
my throw. I'm sure I'll feel much more confident when I
need to hit one of those doubles in a match.

That's a lot of didcation to keep going until you hit 100 of them. Fair play and it is one way to ingrain the memory of hitting those doubles for when they come up in match play
