How are dart points measured?
I want to replace the points (steel tip) in a couple of sets with something in the 32 - 35 mm length (outside the barrel).  When shopping online, the shops give a length but do not say whether or not the part that slides into the barrel is included in their measurement.

Does anybody know?

No total length before point goes in. Depend on dart but typically 4-5 mm and some more, again depending on dart. 32mm is typically standard on new darts. | believe in a long points and use 42mm

Aye measurements are total length, as some are drilled deeper than others. With the target diamond points I try to go just over the shinier bit, which I'd guess it 4-5mm deep.

32mm are standard with most brands. Unicorn use 35mm as a standard point. That's the total length.
32mm show +- 26mm
35mm show +- 29mm
38mm show +- 32mm
etc
may all the doubles be with you

This is absolutely not true for Storm Points, as it measures the visible part of the point.

Yes, for storm points they're measured as above. But standard points are as I mentioned
